Sharon Weizenbaum

    Sharon graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1983 and now has practiced continually for over 35 years.  She is the director of White Pine Healing Arts clinic and White Pine Institute.  Through White Pine Institute, Sharon has taught her two-year Graduate Mentorship Program since 1999.  She has brought many outstanding classic formula teachers from China for seminars at White Pine Institute such as Dr. Huang Huang, Dr. Yu Guo-Jun, Dr. Fu Yan-Ling.  Sharon has also traveled to and lived in China to study gynecology with Dr. Qiu Xiao-Mei, Classic Formulas with Dr. Huang Huang and to study Chinese language.

    Sharon’s Graduate Mentorship Program is an interactive mentoring program through which students learn to clarify and hone their diagnostic skills and expand their knowledge of classical physiology, diagnosis and formulas.  Much of the material for this course has been translated from Chinese by Sharon herself.  Besides the classic formulas of the Shang Han Lun, Sharon’s great passion is teaching traditional diagnosis, a key skill she feels is washed over in many training programs throughout the world.

    Sharon also runs Ancient Ponies Farm with her daughter where they raise milking goats, Gotland sheep, ducks, chickens and Dales ponies as well as extensive permaculture gardens
